Gregory H. Meyer
of Waukesha, WI, formerly of Cedar Rapids, IA, found peace on July 1, 2010, age 55 years.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Sun., August 22 from 1:00-1:45PM at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH, 606 4th Ave., Durant, IA. Memorial service at 2:00PM. Burial immediately following at Durant Cemetery. Fellowship will take place after committal services at Durant Community Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Greg's name may be made to the University of Iowa Alumni Association.
Greg was born on Dec. 3, 1954 in Pasadena, CA to Herbert and Viola (Fruendt) Meyer. He was united in marriage to Ludalle "Lou" Weih on May 19, 1990.
Greg was an Account Executive for Federal Express Corp. He loved flying private aircraft, earning his pilot's license at age 16! Greg held both a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, as well as a Masters of Science and Communications from Northwestern University.
Greg is survived by his loving wife of 20 years and his favorite cousins Diane Norden and Stacy (Don) Lensch. He was preceded in death by his parents.
